Another Reason I Don't Trust Science and the Government #0001

Female Plasma

All too often we take on faith that everything science and government says is good, is good; and what is bad, is bad. They can readily discover things that cause them to turn 180 degrees from what they used to state and no one cares - the faith remains.

I plan to update this everytime I come across a news article that shows the hypocrisy they sell as truth.

On Friday February 12, 2010 it has been reported that after three years of recommendations against transfusing plasma from female donors, researchers found that plasma from women may actually be better - not worse for heart surgery patients.

Whoops - guess they got that one wrong.

Or maybe they didn't.  Perhaps in another three years a new study disputing this claim will be released.

Peace.

1 Corinthians 3:19-21 'For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with the Creator, For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.  And again, Yahweh knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.  Therefore let no man glory in men, for all things are yours.'

Amen RevLady. It seems we are always hearing how they can say something completely opposite of what they once said and no one loses faith in them. I wonder why that is. Maybe if we pay attention and really note how often it occurs, we might see a pattern. Peace.

GW77, he has to have a system to work through, one with long and controlling arms - not to mention sharp teeth and claws. Peace.

Allen, I find amusement in this, I've never taken a crayon to a chalk board to write and this hub provides an absolute to ones thinking, scientists are about as accurate as weather forecasters. They might get it right once in a while and never realize it. On this particular subject, God didn't have a drain plug in human design, it could be we were not designed to have an oil change? I often wonder if by having an intervention in my death with heart surgery, did I take my free will and sign on the dotted line for a longer stay that will include more pain? Is it like suicide in reverse? The Jehovah Witness religion teaches that receiving blood is the same sin as eating blood. I have studied with them, I was one that when they knocked at the door I opened it and let them in. They returned every week and we studied the Bible together, then one day they brought me a copy of "their Bible" "New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures" with references. It was years ago but I still have the Bible mixed in with my study library.

Since I have had the internet (just under 2 years) I went back and looked their history up as they have a year assigned to the end times, I found like scientists they have been repeatedly wrong and had to re-write the end time each time. I'm not throwing stones at them, just reflecting on something someone has bothered to keep track of, I suppose to discredit them or to brag that the ones keeping track were above them? I chose to stop my study with them due to their proclamation that the 144,000 of Revelations were all from their church and only the self proclaimed 144,000 were worthy of taking the symbolic communion and all who were not of their faith were taking the wide road to destruction. This was back in the early '90s in California. I saw things they did sort of attractive as every church they had world wide was on the very same page in their studies every day, they seemed to be moving as 1 body in their following of the teachings. Anyway I'm off topic here, sorry to make you suffer through it. I just found some symmetry in their study of Revelations and it's failure to meet the time line they predicted, and science trying to make sense out of Gods creation of us humans and the point that they are not as smart as they think they are when they try to guess how God made us tick. If they get on the bus with those who will be recognized as worthy, They will be able to find out the answers they seek in the Kingdom of God and their time would be better spent trying to make sure they are on the right bus. I'm still trying to reach a point of knowing for sure, but it seems the narrow path gets narrower as we move along... Stay Blessed

Dusty, I laughed with the oil change concept, it is so true; and you are right about the path getting narrower as we learn more and more. My wife and I several years ago, did the same thing and invited the JW's into our home and studied with them for awhile. We had not studied them, but praise the Lord, we were already steadfast in many of the teachings and things we had learned that we were not swayed and had responses for them they could not Scriptually answer. The most interesting part was, they started bringing in reinforcements. The people that came to study with us were originally pretty new to that faith. They sent forth some who were a little higher up and had different, heavier ammo. They in turn sent some higher ups. We were getting some attention from some higher players and we are still not sure to this day if they wanted to turn us or they were afraid we were making too much sense to their underlings and couldn't expose them too us anymore. You know they are very careful about what they allow themselves to research and learn from. Eventually, they stopped coming to us. We didn't tell them not to come - they stopped coming. Our door was always open to them but they thought it best not to enter.

I also understand your thoughts on the heart surgery matter. Both of my brothers had MD, and we went through a great many surgeries and hospital visits for twenty some years. Was it all for quanity or for quality of life? I don't believe anything we do in the body itself is sin - it is our mindset and thought-frame that drove us to do what we did that is always judged by the Lord (our intent). Sometimes we just are scared and not ready to die and we willingly do what we need to do to survive. I believe when we discover true harmony with our Spirit, true contented peace with our soul, healing and dying are both blessed events. Guess that way of thinking does put me on a pretty narrow path. Thanks as always for opening up. You sure dragged alot out of me. Peace.

I came to the same conclusion after reading Stephen Hawkins's 'A Brief history of time' and realising that he spent the first third of the book discrediting all the other scientists who had held theories (proclaimed to be correct) which he proved to be incorrect, in order to establish the truth of his theory..... science kinda lost it's credibility after that, especially as if you need to know, God will explain anything to you!

Good Hub...keep it simmering along!

aguasilver, and He shall send the Holy Spirit which shall teach you all things. I have no problem with science until they try to legalize their beliefs and make their knowledge a truth we all must adibe by. Government is that instrument by which science gathers power. Thanks for commenting. Peace.

Thanks Deborrah. It amazes me how often the worldly contradict themselves, so I'm just going to add new ones like this one whenever I run across them - and actually I'm working on another (#0002) that should get published this weekend some time. Peace.
