Pentagon Papers
“Secrecy is essential to empire.” - Daniel Ellsburg – Former Pentagon analyst who leaked secret information about the Vietnam War in 1971
Ephesians 5:11-12 ‘And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.’
It seems no matter how old people get, they still play at life like kids. No one likes a snitch. But here’s the thing, a snitch is really only a person who has witnessed the truth of a matter that they cannot reckon or justify in themselves. A snitch is a whistle-blower, and in this world of evil conspiracy, we have men and women of power and wealth who believe “loyalty” means complete group adherence to every act and deed.
You, as a Christian however, a single entity in the body of Christ, and your moral conscience must have authority at all times over all matters of men and nations. The “spiritual” body of Christ is about revelation, not secrets and darkness. When we stand in midst of men and women who wink at injustice and plot to cover up events that are discriminating and criminal, we must reprove them.
Psalms 1:1-2 ‘Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of Yahweh; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.’
If you haven’t noticed, the American public is being bombarded with advertisements that push for more education in science and math. We are being told quite boldly that in order to prosper and be a successful citizen of these United States, education is the only answer.
I disagree.
I believe the moral compass of the youth in this nation is way off. It’s not pointing north, south, east or west. It is constantly spinning and moving. It is liquid, and it adapts to the atmosphere like a chameleon. Our children are learning to be whatever society determines they need to be in order to survive in the culture and economy in which they are raised. That is not the gospel message. The gospel message is there to call them out of the world!
The world’s message only echoes the cries of Cain. “If I don’t get my way, I’ll kill you."

- GOP congressional candidate Stephen Broden says violent overthrow of government is \'on the table\'
The Dallas Morning News Latest News page contains stories about the Dallas-Fort Worth area and stories of broad interest to Texans.
What Was He Thinking?
“If the government is not producing the results or has become destructive to the ends of our liberties, we have a right to get rid of that government and to get rid of it by any means necessary.” - Stephen Broden
This comment was not made during the Revolutionary War, but just last week (October 2010) by the founder and Senior Pastor of a Bible Fellowship Church and Republican candidate for Congress in Texas. As the Dallas Morning News reported, Mr. Broden would not rule out a violent overthrow of the government if the upcoming elections did not produce a change in leadership. Mr. Broden stated that violence is not the first option but “on the table.” (He has since, posted on his website that “the only way to defend out liberty is through peaceful change at the ballot box. Of course, the other angel of choice in this race is the incumbent Democrat Eddie Bernice Johnson who was found just recently to have improperly secured scholarships for her relatives and relatives of her staff. And people wonder why I don’t vote.)
Matthew 26:52-53 ‘Then said Yahshua unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?’
We live in a volatile time. There are so many secret factions manipulating and motivating people to fear what will happen in the future. Don’t mistake what you are thinking. All worry over the political and economic direction of nations is based and rooted in fear. That is why people place so much energy and effort into campaigns. They all have agendas and they will accept nothing less than victory. I have news for those who didn’t get the paper yet – Christ won! Victory is His!
Romans 8:14-15 ‘For as many as are led by the Spirit of Yahweh, they are the sons of Yahweh. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.’

No Insult Intended
I don’t want to insult anyone but I have to ask – Where is your faith?
Do you realize that once you come to Christ, you are a new person, you are a spiritual son of Yahweh – and like Yahshua, can cry out for twelve legions of angels if necessary! Do you believe that, or only kind of believe that?
Romans 8:18 ‘For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.’
This glory that shall be revealed in us – is the secret in us. But these secrets are not like the world’s secrets. The world is fighting to survive. The world is fighting to maintain order and a semblance of justice, which really is not just at all. In every walk of life there is respect of persons, of businesses, and of leaders. They are not “honest,” just “loyal” to their causes. They would never speak badly or negatively of the organizations they belong too, even when they are wrong, because they would be frowned up and possibly expelled – threatened with bodily, social and economic harm.
Romans 8:35 ‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?’
It happens every day. People are scared for their lives, scared for the lives of their loved ones, scared of people who look and act different. It is not brave to stand up to your fears with a sword, or a gun, or even fists.
The love of Christ is to defeat fears with nothing but faith.
Romans 8:36 ‘As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’
You signed up for this when you decided to accept Christ. You signed up to be a sheep in the midst of wolves.
Romans 8:37 ‘Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.’
There was an interesting little advertisement that popped up next to a hub I was reading last week and it said, “Warning! Do not click this if you have moral, ethical, or religious reasons forcing you to cower helplessly while someone violently attacks you, your wife, or your kids.”
There is something the early church understood that Christians today simply don’t get and refuse to accept.
The person who violently attacks has already lost. I believe I have the victory in Christ and I don’t have to fight, injure or kill anyone to prove that.
Romans 12:20-21 ‘Therefore I thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.’

Conquistidores in the Gulf
Lately I have been studying the history of the Spanish conquistadores in central and South America. While venturing through jungles and marshes inhabited by natives they chose to dominate and enslave, these vile men carried before them the banner of the cross. In some twisted fashion, they thought that their violent oppression was justified and necessary.
When I read of the latest WikiLeaks reports concerning evidence of torture and mistreatment of captured prisoners during the Gulf War, I feel like I am reading tales of the conquistadores all over again. The current administration under Barack Obama is trying its best to vilifying the reports and those who reported the information. They maintain that some of these secrets are necessary for the safety of troops and allies stationed in those dangerous places of the world.
As a Christian, the only secrets I have, which will be revealed by the Lord in His good time, are the good works I have done which no one else’s knows about.
Matthew 6:6 ‘. . . thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.’
The world wants to educate our children more and more in math and science. That is all fine but not what is necessary. Our children need a moral compass, one that points towards the Lord and towards His will at all times. Our children need a place they can go spiritually when they are feeling lost, hopeless and like many of the politically alienated people in America – fearful – ready to take up arms and kill if they don’t get their way.
James P. Moore wrote in his book “One Nation Under God – The History of Prayer in America,” that every Native American mother “considered her first duty to teach her child about the sacredness of life and death, and the importance of prayer.” Christian American parents are failing their children. In the same book, we see that John Winthrop, who wrote “A Model of Christian Charity,” said, “Selfless love” is “the critical ingredient to success in the New World.
Why is Christianity failing in America? The charity America displays is not real. Real charity, real love for all of the Creation, the key and critical ingredient necessary to succeed is missing. Success has become something very different, very tragic, and very ungodly.
As far as I am concerned, my King already won the only battle to be won. All of this external carnal fighting for safety and security only shows how little faith people today really have. The early church knew for a certainty that their lives would be in constant danger. They knew their faith might cause them to lose their lives, their freedoms and yes, even their families. And yet still, they taught it to their children with great passion and honesty. They didn’t teach their children that war was an answer to anything. They didn’t teach them to try to create a new world order or topple existing governments. They taught their children to spread the gospel by doing the fruitful works that really matter. It doesn’t take math or science – or even money – to be kind, to cloth the naked, to shelter the homeless, to visit the widows and succor the orphans. It takes willing hearts that have been educated in the Word. It takes a reverent love for the law of Yahweh and a willingness to meditate in it day and night.
Psalms 1:5 ‘The ungodly shall not stand in the judgment. . .’
All the end-time judgment is, is the justifying of the whistle-blowers. Like righteous Abel, our blood will speak out from the ground if someone has had the audacity and evilness to take it. That was their choice. We just don’t need anyone else’s blood speaking out against us at the judgment simply because we wanted to feel a little bit safer and secure in this temporal, hopeless world.
Psalms 11:5 ‘Yahweh trieth the righteous: But the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth.’
Amen

A M,
I liked your points and I especially liked the way you interspersed Scripture throughout. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent message on faith Brother Werner.
The enemy would distract us by 'any' means, he would love to get us all whipped up into a frenzy of Christian activism, it diverts our attention from peaching the gospel.
All Christians KNOW where the evilness of our times is headed, and I rejoice in the knowledge of HOW it all ends! I've read the Book! As you say-- Christ is Victorious!
We don't need to be afraid! Our God is bigger than their god.
"Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you.....The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Ex 14:13-14
Good job with this material--I enjoyed this hub AM!
Very well written and informative.
Voted up!
John
Great hub AW,
Personally, I am not impressed with or depressed by the world's claims, its pretensions, and its earnest seeking after itself. When this world has been soberly considered, the conclusion of the whole matter is that only what we do for God will last.
Thanks for the read, voted up and shared!!
Forever His,
Allen, a well thought out and presented message. As stated I'm pretty sure of the finality of this plane of existence. I may one day see the view of passive believers, just not today, but I'm always open to listen to the message and one day may find the truths in it. I cannot see watching a person die at the hands of another if I can offer up my life to save theirs.
Peace, Dusty
If you ever put your foot down in all four states, you have stood in my step, Peace and Love,Dusty
There you go-I liked the explanation you had; but I was thinking more in the lines of, "dumb down America so we can break them financially . . . .so that they'll be ready for our one world government."
Very well put and excellent tie in with scripture.
I've seen a lot of discussions over the last few weeks where Christians are getting all fired up about various things such as attacks against our faith. Even listened to a few Pastors quoting scripture to reinforce why we should "rally the troops" against the world's indiscretions and radical actions that have been taken against the Christian faith and church.
In contrast, I then see other ministries experiencing physically manifested miracles and great revival versus the war in the spiritual realm, yet all they are using is LOVE and allowing the Lord to conquer all things for them.
Mmm... What was that thing again that Jesus said about: "the two greatest commandments"? (Matthew 22:37) and that other thing about: "How everyone would recognize who we are"? (John 13:34)

Certainly, education is an issue-as our media controlled and raised children have fallen WAY behind the rest of the world. . . .and I think I sort of identified the problem with the kid-owe's morals too.
I like the Kennedy speech where he said something about how secrecy, secret societies, etc are abhorrent to Americans.
It's truly a divided nation out there-by design, of course. I don't know how fun the future will be-but it's getting more interesting every day. Of course I already know how a lot of it will turn out. . . .but only on the largest level, no fine details.
