Satan Speaks From The Mount

1 - Cautionary Words of Warning
And seeing the whole world before him, Satan went up into a high mountain and opened his mouth, saying . . .
Blessed are the rich, for theirs is the kingdoms of the world.
Blessed are they which laugh and scoff at the misfortune of others, for they shall be envied, worshipped and approved.
Blessed are the proud and the bold, for they shall take possession of the world’s most valuable resources.
Blessed are they which encourage, support and commit injustice, for they shall find success beyond measure.
Blessed are those without mercy, for their enemies will be afraid of them and flee.
Blessed are the disobedient and the willful, for they will discover new things and be looked upon as gods.
Blessed are the warriors, for their violent deeds shall become legendary and their names shall be etched upon monuments.
Blessed are they which persecute, for they shall be saved from persecution.
Blessed are they which work to silence and destroy those who speak evil against them.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for as the kings and the queens of the past directed their mighty nations and determined history, so shall you. Ye are the abusers and the users of the earth; ye are the lions and the leopards, the drones. So go forth now and roam the entire globe, take it all, and trod other men under your feet. Burn down every city on every hill and let the terror of you so shine before all men, that they might obey your commands and glorify you.
Think not that I have come to create anything good. I have come not to create good but to augment my prosperity and my magnificence. I am only interested in me and mine.
Verily I say unto you, until heaven and earth shall pass, I will continue to choose for myself what is right and what is wrong, what is legal and what is illegal – and so shall you.
And whosoever shall doubt our power to enforce our will and shall teach others to break our edicts, he or she shall be enemies, the least in our kingdoms, and become our servants.
Except your ruthlessness exceeds the ruthlessness of other men, ye shall in no wise survive.
(Based On Matthew 5:1-20)

2 - Taking Stock of Your Life
As individuals travailing to be born again in Christ, perhaps it is time we give more thought to the great calling by which we are called, the hazardous walk we are sojourning in life.
Is the journey comfortable and planned, solid and stable, set upon a wide and easy way?
Or are we traversing the challenging slopes? Are we sharing the same narrow roads the poor, the meek, the hungry, the sorrowful, the persecuted, and the peacemakers take? Do we know their pains, their sorrows, their hopes and their dreams?
Are we who have attained so much in life, now more determined than ever to protect and maintain our treasures then to endure the forfeiting of them?
Is winning the day today, what Christ had in mind when He spoke of having patience and longsuffering – and of turning the other cheek?
Are we lights on a far off hill because we are radiating Christ’s brightness from inside?
Or are we merely burning heaps of political rubble?
Are we hostile apparitions of overconfident creature-inspired godliness that has learned to justify anger and to nationalize our hate?
Are we greedy for more than we can eat?
Are we devils pretending to be saints?
Are we adversaries to ourselves, our fellow man, and the universal eternal truth of our Creator?
Are we listening to the wrong sermons?
Are we standing at the foot of the wrong mounts?
I ask, how can we go on acting out the part of satan and talking the talk of Christ without becoming anti-Christ; dangerous, seductive, manipulative serpents?
Matthew 15:7-9 ‘Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, This people draw nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoreth Me with their lips; but there heart is far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.’
We have long learned to obey men and women who have tried to teach us that the interest of Christ and the interest of the nation are one in the same. There teaching is a lie.
There are too many wars, too many victims, and too many injustices in this world because sacrifice has become a sin and pride has become a badge.
If you don’t want to leave the wide path that leads to destruction, know now that you have been warned.
Matthew 15:14 ‘Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.’
Only faith will rescue your soul and give you peace. Only faith will allow you to see and discover the things the Lord wants to reveal to you.
2 Corinthians 5:7 'For we walk by faith, not by sight.'
Amen

I enjoyed your sermon for today. voted up!
great stuff. voted up.
Allen, it was promised that a place was prepared for each of us, and you just defined the fact that the pit is a place, and many will receive their rewards, justly. I am on the verge of dusting off my sandal of the words of many here at HP as their arguments, day in and day out, benefit no one in the grand scheme of things to come. I am guilty of partaking of these subjects and it weighs heavy on my heart that writers of entertaining tales seem to have fallen into the trap of political crap over what they once wrote that brought a smile has turned to things I really don't want to be a part of any longer.
The realization that if one cannot bring light to the dark I cannot see to read. Futile is the man with a book with no light to see. Blessed is he who brings the light to read, deleted is he who does not.
Many blessings, much peace, abundance of love all befall you, dust
I'm really just forever looking for something really profound to say to all of these "new atheist intellectuals" that just seem to ignore everything I say.
Oh well, what can I do?
And how many followers ignore the warning about serving God and Money?

A powerful exhortation. Your portrayal of Satan's strategic opposition to Gods purposes and qualities is effective.
Your points and questions are great that we might examine for ourselves whose side we are really on.
A-men! God bless you! You kind of had me worried there for a minute. A interesting way to grab ones attention!
Take care..:-)
What a wonderful spin on the other side of blessedness. Very creative and so full of truth that it stings. Had to vote up and tweet. Thanks AW.
Forever His,
Hello Mr. Werner, this is my first visit to your hubs, and I feel that I have been fed and encouraged. Praise the Lord, and thank you!
I am a friend and follower of Reverend Saundra's hub. So it is very nice to make your acquaintance. :)

AM Werner, Brilliant! Provokes thought and also torturously true... Spiritually uplifting and illuminating because the Lord’s Love, Patience & marvelous Grace for us becomes quite evident! Spiritual growth is an ongoing process this is a great reminder of the importance of staying on the “Straight & Narrow...” Thank you for the chastisement and reminding us to become more and more disciplined and aware of who we are and whose side we are on! In HIS Love, Grace & Joy! May the PEACE of the LORD be upon you! God Bless YOU! "TO GOD BE THE GLORY!"
AM,
dont take this the wrong way -in general i am in agreement-with the theory of many of your points - however not all the rich are evil and greedy - not all the poor are honorable-and good-Crime is present in all levels and sectors of society- its "human nature"...it would be nice if it wasn't so but unfortunately it tis.-Im not saying its good but change is slow and hard..."the wheels of truth grind slow but they grind fine"
TH
@Mr. Hellert, with all due respect, I reread this message and am just curious how the human "class" distinction came to you in thought and comment. I tried to allow it into my thoughts here and couldn't get it to come forth. Again, not intending any argument, just asking, Peace, 50
50-AM,
My main assertion in that comment is that people of a certain group are NEVER ALL OR NONE of something. People are individuals and the more you lump them into a "group" the less individual they become.. "Painting with a broad brush only misses spots or covers them too thin".

tom hellert, cool I understand that thought, I just didn't get it peace, 50

What a great reversal of the Sermon on the Mount. I've never thought of satan's side of the Beatitudes. Very creative. Voted up and I'll be following you.
