It Came In The Mail
Dr. Mike Evans is a syndicated journalist who claims to be “Under Divine Appointment.” He has written over thirty-books and is a New York Times Bestselling author. Mr. Evans sent me this particular advertisement for his organization's "Save Jerusalem" outreach.
In this mailer he appears to be disheartened by President Barack Obama’s unwillingness to support an attack on Iran. He compares any bridges of peace the president attempts to build with the Islamic world to be similar to the appeasement policies of the 1930s in Europe.
I suppose it is easy to look at the atrocities that do occur when people “appease” tyrants and condemn them but as difficult as it may seem, we as Christians are inclined to look into the spirit of the matter, not the things an unforgiving world can easily judge. As Christians, it is our belief that what happened to Christ was the single greatest atrocity in the history of mankind. The world has, it does and it will continue to suffer slaughter and holocausts, massacres and coups. Not one of these horrific events however will ever be as telling, or more momentous to the human race than the crucifixion of Christ.
Luke 23:34 ‘Then said Yahshua, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.’
If we are to let the mind that was in Christ be also in us, then we have to learn and know what the tyrants don’t know; we have to know why Christ forgave the world from the pole – so we can do the same.
When I hear and read about Christians being militant, being as Mr. Evans here, in favor of attacking Iran, it is heartbreaking. If we want to take lessons from history, then we must expand our view and take a look at more than the moments that support our ambition. Critically, we must also see the many case-in-points that dispel our notions of success in the world. If Mr. Evans wants to reflect on the policy failures he is advocating before World War II, the appeasements, he should also look at the policy failure that caused Hitler to lose a war he appeared very capable of winning. He got greedy and had too many battlefronts. America is already over-extended both economically and militarily. Another front is sheer foolishness.

FEAR AND FIRE
In a small leaflet expounding on his new book, “The Final Move Beyond Iraq,” Mr. Evans plants obvious seeds of fear to inspire interest; not an uncommon theme for some preachers. He says, and I quote, “A Persian revolution is spreading . . .”
Let’s just stop right there. “Persia!” We might as well start calling Iran “Babylon” again if this is the road people want to travel. This is a marketing tool. Using the word Persia encourages us to reflect on the few dark facts we know about that country past. Since very few of us know much about Persia, most of what we do know is dark. The fear begins.
“A Persian revolution is spreading and is on the brink of becoming America’s greatest threat since the Civil War. Millions of American allies – Christians, Arabs, and Kurds - will die in horrendous killing field before terrorists head West . . . if America leaves Iraq.”
Wow! That sounds sensational and scary. But let us look at another reality imparted to us by history. Every time a tribe of Native American men, women, and children eloped from their starving, poverty-stricken condition behind a reservation zone of control, the U.S. government promoted fear. Settlers were warned that there were “armed marauders” on the prowl. Did these Indians loot farm houses? Yes. But more stories abound of them peacefully taking off cattle and chickens and other materials because they were starving and had nothing, then do the burnings and killings. Most Americans were simply afraid to lose their property and didn’t care that these indigent godless heathens were being ill-treated. In fact, they chose to believe that their government was humanely taking care of them. Demonizing and vilifying the enemy, while expounding on your own purity, has been done by every empire. England, France, Rome, and Greece all had their barbarians – even though – they at one time in history were someone else’s barbarians.
Of course, civilization always defines empire building as the result of an “evolved” and “heightened” moral state. America’s government and military, like England, Rome and Greece before them, could never be at fault, could never be anything but admirable and just. Everyone else just simply can’t be trusted.

PROMOTE ME THRICE
In his six-page summation “Save Jerusalem,” Mr. Evans three times shamelessly brags about and promotes his own personal integrity.
1) On page 1, after speaking with Menachem Begin, the Prime Minister of Israel is said to have turned to his secretary and said, “Shake this man’s hand; you’ve finally met an honest man.”
2) On page 3, Mr. Evans claims to have predicted to Prime Minister Begin, an attack where the enemy would lose a great many forces while he didn’t lose any. (check)
3) On page 5, “with all humility,” Mr. Evans tells us that “there is no Christian in America closer to Prime Minister Netanyahu than I.” He then compares himself to Queen Esther.
If we look at Matthew Chapter 6, we see that self-promotion is the activity of those seeking the glory of men, which figures because Mr. Evans is seeking donations – and donations come from people.
Jeremiah 9:24 ‘But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me, that I am Yahweh which exerciseth lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth; for in these things I delight, saith Yahweh.’
If these things Mr. Evans stated had been true and the Lord wanted them revealed, then the pronouncement would have come from someone else – but it didn’t.
Matthew 6:6 ‘. . . and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.’
On the front of the envelope, as well as on page 1, sentence 1, Mr. Evans says, “What I am about to tell you has never been told before in its entirety.” On page 5 he adds, “What I’ve just shared with you is a secret which I’ve kept for over two-and-one-half decades.” Hmmm – I guess he just got tired of waiting on the Lord to reward him openly. Guess he thinks it is time to profit from the goodness he did in secret.

SOMEONE HAS TO WILL IT IF GOD WILL NOT
On page 4, Mr. Evans writes, “Israel is under world pressure to divide Jerusalem and turn the birthplace of Christianity into an Islamic capital, as well as to relinquish a large percentage of the Bible lands of Judea and Samaria.”
How awful. How can Christians stand by and let this happen? How about another lesson from history?
Everything Mr. Evans is saying here is what the ambitious pope’s of the Middle Ages said in order to inspire Crusaders to kill, to motivate violent god-fearing knights to murder godless Moors. Have we learned nothing?

CONVERSIONS ZERO
Mr. Evans believes the leaders of Israel to be holy and religious figures who willingly pray with him during his visits. Mr. Evans says he once told Prime Minister Begin that he came to him to build “a bridge of love between Bible-believing Christians and Bible-believing Jews.”
Hello - I don’t know about you but I think there is something missing in that equation. Perhaps Mr. Evans forgot that the Jewish Bible is only half-written, that they don’t have, don’t want, and don’t believe in the New Testament.
This equation Mr. Evans has formulated to build this bridge of love is probably why, after decades of meetings and prayers with these people, not one of the Israeli-Jewish leaders has converted to Christianity. Worshipping a “blanket-God” together with others does well in politics, finances and other measures of personal prosperity, but it doesn’t bode well or accomplish much when trying to win souls to Christ. If the Lord truly sent Mr. Evans to these leaders, perhaps he forgot why. Perhaps he forgot because empire building took precedence and eventually seemed godly. Power and influence can do that to men.

HELP US - I BEG YOU
“I don’t know why God has chosen me to facilitate this meeting. But I do know that I can’t do it alone. It is going to be a massive undertaking with a myriad of details – probably one of the most expensive things our ministry has ever done.”
Every time I read that, I have to pause, shake my head, and pray not only for the soul that wrote it, but the ones that believe it. Those words are straight out of the prosperity preacher’s handbook.
First off, near as I can tell from this correspondence, this “influential leaders” summit or “prophetic event” which may feature according to the brochure many preachers ranging from T.D. Jakes to Joel Osteen, has not set a place and time yet. It is simply an idea.
Mr. Evans says his organization, the ‘Corrie ten Boom Fellowship,’ along with the assistance of multiple leaders from some of the richest churches in the United States, can’t pull off this meeting which “God” wants him to do – without your financial donation.
Friends, this isn’t about having a prayer summit or a vital visionary affair; this is a sheep-financed-vacation for millionaires.
What this leader, and most leaders of mega-churches want people to believe is, that their prayers account for more to “God” then yours do. And if that is true – just think what a whole room full of them can accomplish! His own writing says that they will try to “raise a powerful shield of prayer over a nation under attack.” What? They can’t do that on their own? They can’t use their own bottomless resources to gather together and accomplish this? Isn’t the prayer shield already over us or didn’t we pay “God” enough yet to have one? Is it broken and needs extra funding for repairs? Is it like a retractable dome, and “God” only closes it when people have sacrificed enough?
Why do these millionaires who profess to have “God’s” good graces and intimate connections with the world’s top politicians, need our $25?
Mr. Evans ensures us that, “Your financial support is truly an investment in claiming the blessing of God for both Israel and America.”
Matthew6:21 ‘For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
At some point in your life you have to ask yourself what it is that is truly the most important thing in your life and are you truly willing to make that thing your all and all.
What Mr. Evans is doing is no different than what the Catholic Church did when it was selling indulgences to an uneducated and superstitious congregation of believers.
You can’t “buy” the blessings of the Lord, and, as a nation, you can’t purchase “God” as a shield. The Lord cannot be charmed or seduced by any of this.
Matthew 6:24 ‘No man can serve two masters . . .
When you accepted Christ as your Savior, He became the master of both your body and your spirit. You can’t say you serve Him in the spirit while honoring masters among men on earth. If you do, then you are convincing yourself that your leader and Christ have identical interests.
I ask, “Does America have any interest in saving souls, or is it all about securing borders, bolstering the economy and promoting free trade?”
I ask, “Does Christ have any interest in securing borders, bolstering economies and promoting free trade?”
Hmmm . . . . And what similar interests do Israel and America share? If you serve the interests of both nations, then both must be after the same thing. Are both out to save souls to Christ? Remember, we are to love and meditate on the truth in Yahweh’s Word, and more times than not – that truth will contradict and condemn nearly everything mankind is trying to accomplish as a civilization.

LET"S BE BOLD
Like it or not, the facts are set in stone. The Jewish faith renounced Christ while their leaders promoted, paid for, and orchestrated His execution. There will never be any harmony in that.
Luke 11:23 ‘He that is not with Me is against Me: and he that that gathereth not with Me scattereth.’
So what interest could a supposedly Christian society have with a proclaimed Jewish state?
The truth is one many will not like to hear nor acknowledge. I believe the Israel of today has nothing whatsoever to do with, or in common with, the Israel of the Bible. It is merely a transplanted arm of Western imperialism reaching into the most volatile region on earth. Yahweh and Yahshua had nothing to do with establishing it.
On page 5, in a five bullet listing of aims this “vital gathering,” that is still unplanned, hope to achieve, the fifth bullet is the most telling of their arrogance.
“We will bless the children of Abraham and receive God’s blessing for our families, our nation and our world.”
Almost brings a tear to the eye, doesn’t it? That is before we remember that there is a New Testament and we were told something very important about Abraham in it.
Luke 3:7-8 ‘Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That Yahweh is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.’
In Christian circles, being a child of Abraham shouldn’t carry much weight. Of course, another forgotten sidebar to this is that the Islamic people are descended also from Abraham as well. Doesn’t it bother you in the least that Christians are more often than not, more concerned with blessing and working with the Jewish people, and not the Muslims? Do you think this concern has more to do with fear? Remember, we are being sold an age old story that Islamic people are murderous, savage and ungodly. It’s the same story white Christian settlers were sold concerning Native Americans. It’s the same story Romans were sold concerning all the barbarian tribes around them.
1 John 4:18 ‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear. . .’
We can’t reach out in peace to people we fear.

POSSESSED BY DEMONS
Mr. Evans believes that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is as stated on page 4 of his writing, “demon-possessed.” If that is true, I still can’t recall any occasion in Scripture where Christ confronted the “demon-possessed” with man-made weapons. In fact, He had nothing but love for those souls and He healed them, drove the demons out. Perhaps some of these bold preachers should meet and pray with the leader of Iran like they do with the leader of Israel. He needs saving too.
Of course, if Mr. Ahmadinejad is “demon-possessed,” I can only wonder what President Ronald Reagan was inspired by as he openly supplied Saddam Hussein and Iraq with money, weapons and intelligence during their war with Iran, and covertly did the same thing for Iran. Talk about some “horrendous killing fields.” All along, Reagan and his people knew what moves each side of the war would make, and watched passively as they murdered one another with weapons they supplied them with. Was that “demon-possessed” or is that impossible for a standing Western leader?
Simply put, fear had blinded and politics has mutated the gospel message. It is an ugly beast many Christians have made of Christ.

POWER OF PRAYER
It is important for every Christian to understand that when two or three are gathered together, touching and agreeing in His name, there is power – Christ is in the midst. And furthermore, in accepting that fact, every Christian needs to understand that 1000 people or 1000 leaders touching and agreeing and doing the same, doesn’t incrementally raise the effectiveness of the prayer. Giving the wealthy leaders of “the 52 million evangelicals in the United States” money to meet and pray together in some lavish retreat won’t accomplish anything more than what you, your family, your friends and your church can accomplish together. The desire this man has to commence this prophetic summit is nothing more than the epitome of greed and showmanship.
I got news for Mr. Evans and prosperity preachers like him. If the Lord tells you to do something – then by all means do it – but stop asking others to finance it when the Lord has already provided you personally with an overflowing abundance to accomplish it on your own. Where is your faith in the message the Lord gave you? Why aren’t you willing to put everything you have on the line if this “summit” is so necessary to the saving of Israel and America? Why are you holding back your wealth, your business, and all your worldly ties? Lead by example and like the woman at the treasury, put everything you have in the pot.
While I feel for the people of Israel, I also feel for the people of Palestine, Syria, Iran and Iraq. They all need Christ – they all need His spiritual salvation. The majority of these people in foreign lands are just like the majority of the people in America, they are persuaded falsely by their leaders, both politically and spiritually. All I can say is shame on Christians who advocate war to the saving of nations.
Let us remember Jonah. Do you think Jonah thought any better of the people of Nineveh then Americans think of Iran? Heck no. They were the enemy of his people and he didn’t want to see them saved. He wished them to be destroyed. He didn’t believe the differences between them could be solved by talking – by preaching.
1 Corinthians 1:21 ‘. . .it pleased Yahweh by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.’
If you don’t preach Christ, then people cannot be led to Christ. If we don’t create a peaceful enough environment to even speak with the enemy, how can we preach to them? We can’t, not because of them – but because of our own doing. America has made it easy for others to speak evil of us, because America has never been in the preaching business. It is greedy for resources, prosperity and trade. It has preachers but they are only a front – as Mr. Evans presence in Israel shows. How many decades of prayer and talking with Jews has it been without Christ ever finding any place in it? A “blanket-God” doesn’t save. It only gives people with different agendas a warm and cozy place to snuggle under. Beneath this blanket, many secrets can be planned and shared, and many have yet to be revealed.

NEVER STOP HOPING FOR PEACE
Matthew 5:9 ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of Yahweh.’
They shall not be called the children of Abraham, or America, or Israel, or Iran, or any other nation.
A peacemaker never loses hope that peace might be achieved; even when everyone else thinks it is not possible. This is the foolishness the wise in the world cannot reason. They think there is a time to give up hope for peace, and everyone has varying degrees for at which this time arrives. Some have shorter fuses than others. As Christians, we are to be unique. We are to have the mind of Christ that will still believe peace can occur, even up to and through the point of dying for that hope. A soldier of Christ fights doubt every minute of every day. That is where the real battle is.
Proverbs 13:12 ‘Hope deferred maketh the heart sick . . .’
The world is a very sick place. It is terminal. It is dying. All the way to the final conclusion we must maintain hope. Nations that go to war, go to war because they see no other alternative, no more hope for peace. If you call seeking peace a form of appeasement, than you were never really putting your faith in the Lord. Facts of history can be distorted. England and France did not appease Hitler out of some desire for peace, but rather out of an indifferent preoccupation with their own problems at home. I am not defending Hitler or his agenda by any means, but what I am saying is – Hitler was just one man. If the opponents of Hitler had turned to Christ with fervent prayer and unity of spirit, he would have never accomplished what he did. But then as now, it was always about politics. And when it is about politics, the weapons of war which let the mightiest beat the mighty will prevail for the truth is, if the Lord isn’t in it – then the Lord isn’t in it.
When the Lord is in it – well then, David beats Goliath, and Jonah preaches to a nation and they are saved. The innocent don’t suffer while the leaders sleep and scheme. Christ is our King. He took the lashes for us. Should we not take them for someone else – or should we give them out?
Whenever I read militant-Christian literature like the stuff Mr. Evans sent to my door, I know I am reading the writings of a man whose hope went only so far, whose hope is now firmly planted in the might of nations and not in the body of Christ. His words cry out for blood – one nation over another nation. That is not the peace Yahshua preached.
In peace, I ask that we all now touch and agree in the true Spirit of the Father through His Son Yahshua the Messiyah. Father, we recommit ourselves to the faith that says Christ came to the world to save sinners – and we shall all from here and henceforth be about our Father’s business.
Isaiah 40:15 ‘Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance. . .’

I had never heard of this guy before! But it surely seems quite clear to me after reading your hub, that Mr Evans is out to promote himself rather than our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. He is out for the glory that rightfully belongs to God.
Man will never be able to stop the fighting and bring peace, only Christ can do that--and we live in faith for that day!

All the politics and summits and meetings, hardly result in even temporary cease-fires. There is so much anger, so much historical anomosity that without Christ it can't be resolved. I believe fighting physically is contrary to the gospel message - even the woman released from her bondage was a spiritual effort - one accomplished by faith. Mr. Werner, Thank you for your kind response to my comment, but do you remember all the places in scripture where God sent physical armies out against a nation in judgment? He is still the same God. Jesus offers peace, but if an individual or a nation will not accept peace, Jesus will send a sword. It is not good to war against your own brothers in Christ!

panguerita, I always enjoy responding to comments - discussion can be a wonderful and beautiful thing. As far as the old testament militancy goes, I am a Christian pacifist, believing turning the other cheek and forgiving accomplishes more spiritually than warring physically ever can. I think Matthew 22:7 is part of Yahweh, the Father, actually denying Yisrael's rights after not accepting His Son and crucifying Him. It is time now to go out into the highways and byways and bring in any who desire to come. Peace.
I have never been a devoutly religious person but I can truly say that I have felt the presence of God’s Spirit on enough occasions to know when he is reaching deep into my soul. I don’t know why he bothers because I do not deserve his attention but I am so grateful. What I would like to share with you is my experience when I walked into two incredible places in the Netherlands, the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, and the Corrie Ten Boom House in Haarlem. In both these places I felt the presence of God more than I have ever felt in any church. My eyes opened and I became aware that those who protect His people would have a special place and those who persecute them would pay a severe price. I know little about Mike Evans other than what I have read from his mailing but if he is as it appears he has my support. I read Mr. Werner’s “It Came in the Mail” with great interest mainly because I am a Doubting Thomas by nature. I did not read anything that directly contradicted any of Mike Evans claims in his letter. What I did read was Mr. Werner’s quotes from the Bible claiming those were sufficient to show Mike Evan’s was on the wrong track. I even detected a hint of “since Jews have not accepted the Messiah we cannot be in fellowship with them”. Sorry if I misunderstood that. What really got my attention is Mr. Werner’s insinuation that Mike Evans is self serving and has become wealthy from his ministry. Is this true? He wrote nothing to back it up. Could Mike Evans be just another Jim Baker or is he exactly what he says he is?
John, thanks for reading and voicing your opinion. I don't doubt the good works of places like those in the Netherlands but the presence of the Lord is everywhere and not, I believe, to be felt any differently in this place or another. When I hear those who already have wealth ask those who don't have it, to give to them so they can have a meeting that is yet unplanned as seemingly contingent on the funds they raise, it peeks my interests. Most of the hub wasn't even really about Mr. Evans ministry as it was his own statements justifying his high place in the circle of worldly politicians. I don't believe this type of interaction justifies his opinion any more than anyone elses. And when dealing with the Jewish people, years and years of prayer with them should be done to accomplish salvation by Christ - not by political and economic means. When Christ Himself spoke with the Jews they either converted or became outraged - not much middle ground or bridge building there. I admit this hub has a hint of righteous indignation but I am a pacifist, as my other hubs attest, and militant Christianity that supports war (including Mr. Evans desire to press for war with Iran), is simply unacceptable in my view. That is not the truth for the Israel that is now is a kingdom created and propped up by war and man - not the Lord. The Jewish beliefs are the advancement of one tribe in twelve and do not represent all of Yisrael. Any people's desire to protect land shows how far from the Lord many have strayed. Janice, Israel is not a single nation on earth anymore. The idea that this little strip of land has to be protected and sheltered is what will lead to Armaggedon. Mr. Evans is more concerned with the state of Israel than the salvation of the souls of the people in Israel. The people of Israel crucified Christ for a reason. Mr. Werner, if you read Romans Chapter 11, you would know that God has not cast away his people Israel in spite of their unbelief. Rom 11:16-24 explains that we (Gentile Christians) were grafted in because of Israel's unbelief. If the natural olive branches were cut off so that you (a wild olive branch) can be grafted in, boast not against the natural branches for God is able to graft them in again. Contrary to the replacement theology, God has NOT replaced Israel with the Gentile Christian Church! The real Israel is not only spiritual but are of the promised seed of Abraham by faith! Read Romans Chapter 11 again and see if you fit in as a seed of Abraham by faith. Everything that God promised Abraham is given to his SEED. We know that the SEED is Christ,however, Christ said in John 10:16 that he has "other sheep" which are not of this fold: them also He must bring and they shall hear His voice and there shall be ONE fold and ONE Shepherd. The Church is a remnant of Israel NOT the replacement of Israel. (Concerning the Crucifixion of Christ both Gentiles and Jews are guilty of Christ's death. wba, I know any response I give at this point is probably going to turn into a hub, so I'll have to look into writing another on this subject. The self-defense amendment to Christ's instructions is, in my opinion, a crutch many Christians have been leaning on for far too long, to justify war. Laying down ones life is a whole different thing than a willingness to take someone else's life - which is what war is. As far as Israel goes, I don't believe a transplanted by nations Jewish state is the real Israel. I think there is way too much confusion between the Jewish and Israeli states and religions - always trying to blend them together, the old and the new. The main reason for this hub in the first place was the illusion of Christian work being accoplished by this particular minister/ministry in Israel. Christ was crucified because He was leading Jews out of Judaism. Now we have a Christian-political base that can't separate the spiritual salvation of eternity from temporal salvation of a strip of land. Christians themselves are a city on a hill - Christians are Jerusalem - individually - the way that city was supposed to be. All the effort in the world to defuse the nuclear nightmare to come isn't going to work. We are supposed to have our minds on higher things. Armageddon is not a what if - but rather - a when. Our task as Christians is to lead people to the spiritual city of Jerusalem - something eternal and pure. Now that is a real peace worthy to be prayed for. Peace

Everything Christians do should be based upon the Biblical text. Here are seven solid Bible reasons why Christians should support Israel.

Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed." Point: God has promised to bless the man or nation that blesses the Chosen People. History has proven beyond reasonable doubt that the nations that have blessed the Jewish people have had the blessing of God; the nations that have cursed the Jewish people have experienced the curse of God.

St. Paul recorded in Romans 15:27 "For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things."
Christians owe a debt of eternal gratitude to the Jewish people for their contributions that gave birth to the Christian faith. Jesus Christ, a prominent Rabbi from Nazareth said, "Salvation is of the Jews!" (St. John 4:22) consider what the Jewish people have given to Christianity:
a) The Sacred Scripture
b) The Prophets
c) The Patriarchs
d) Mary, Joseph, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth
e) The Twelve Disciples
f) The Apostles
It is not possible to say, "I am a Christian" and not love the Jewish people. The Bible teaches that love is not what you say, but what you do. (1 John 3:18) "A bell is not a bell until you ring it, a song is not a song until you sing it, love is not love until you share it."

While some Christians try to deny the connection between Jesus of Nazareth and the Jews of the world, Jesus never denied his Jewishness. He was born Jewish, He was circumcised on the eighth day in keeping with Jewish tradition, He had his Bar Mitzvah on his 13th birthday, He kept the law of Moses, He wore the Prayer Shawl Moses commanded all Jewish men to wear, He died on a cross with an inscription over His head, "King of the Jews!
Jesus considered the Jewish people His family. Jesus said (Matthew 25:40) "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren (the Jewish people… Gentiles were never called His brethren), ye have done it unto me.

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee." (Psalm 122:6) the scriptural principle of prosperity is tied to blessing Israel and the city of Jerusalem.

Why did Jesus Christ go to the house of Cornelius in Capernaum and heal his servant, which was ready to die? What logic did the Jewish elders use with Jesus to convince Him to come into the house of a Gentile and perform a miracle?
The logic they used is recorded in Luke 7:5; "For He loveth our nation, and He hath built us a synagogue." The message? This Gentile deserves the blessing of God because he loves our nation and has done something practical to bless the Jewish people.

Why did God the Father select the house of Cornelius in Caesarea (Acts Chapter 10) to be the first Gentile house in Israel to receive the Gospel? The answer is given repeatedly in Acts 10.
Acts 10:2 "a devout man, (Cornelius) and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always." Who were the people to whom Cornelius gave these alms? They were the Jews
Again is Acts 10:4 "… thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God."
Again in Acts 10:31 "… and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God."
The point is made three times in the same chapter. A godly Gentile who expressed his unconditional love for the Jewish people in a practical manner was divinely selected by heaven to be the first Gentile house to receive the Gospel and the first to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
These combined Scriptures verify that PROSPERITY (Genesis 12:3 and Psalm 122:6), HEALING (Luke 7:1-5) and the OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT came first to Gentiles that blessed the Jewish people and the nation of Israel in a practical manner.

We support Israel because all other nations were created by an act of men, but Israel was created by an act of God! The Royal Land Grant that was given to Abraham and his seed through Isaac and Jacob with an everlasting and unconditional covenant. (Genesis 12:1-3, 13:14-18, 15:1-21, 17:4-8, 22:15-18, 26:1-5 and Psalm 89:28-37.)

Wow, Mr. Evans need to get it together and state the truth instead of trying to influence others to believe in him. Everyone should be treated equally. And personally, I am sick and tired of all the fighting and favoritism. This world need to stop all the fighting and be at peace for a change.
