The World Cannot Contain

John 21:24-25 'This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.  And there are also many other things which Yahshua did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.  Amen.'

Many taken it is a sacred duty to protect the books of the Bible.  Many feel they are the upholders, protectors of these books and without them no one would have received the Word of the Lord.  I think those denominations and personalities in those religions miss the whole point of what is being taught in those books.

John 14:26 'But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.'

The thing denominational-type people dont comprehend is the elusive, uncontainable, Holy Spirit.

In the Old Covenant, no one could ask for the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit was placed upon a chosen vessel inorder to lead, guide, teach and judge.  That doesn't mean that person was perfect.  They could sin and mess up.  Saul messed up so bad, he lost the Holy Spirit.  David managed to have a young soldier killed because he was in lust with the man's wife.

Having the Holy Spirit does not make us holy, or special, or without sin.

The Holy Spirit is a Comfort - a knowledge of our inner understanding, a spiritual mind that sees, believes and advises us on what the righteous path is.

Matthew 7:14 'Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.'

Every time I read that verse, the first thing that comes to mind is - how few is a few?

In Noah's time, few was very few.

Yahshua said the way is narrow and few find it.

I believe that really means - the righteous answer is always there before us, and many times we take the safer path, the wider path, the one most people are travelling on.

Matthew 7:21 'Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. . .'

I believe that is an urgent call to be more diligent then ever towards your walk with the Lord.  And where can we find Him, where can we find the answers?

Ecclesiastes 1:18 'For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth in knowledge increaseth sorrow.'

Can you see the truth in that?

Our lesson started by saying that there are so many marvelous works and wonders Yahshua performed during His lifetime, the writing of them all could not be contained by this world.

In saying that, and understanding that, is the story telling what is necessary to believe?

I have seen so much knowledge of ancient languages expressed on many other blogs people write.  People like to 'flaunt' their wisdom.  Is there any joy in knowing these things?

1 John 5:3 'For this the love of Yahweh, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.'

Yahshua told us He did not do away with the law and He gave us no new commandment - but one that is old.  The only difference now is the choice we have.

Yisrael had no choice.  They were the chosen people.  Often they rebelled because they found His commandments to be grievous - they didn't like them.  They had inspired leaders who could teach them the righteous path but they more often then not, didn't want to hear it or obey it.

You are different.  You are not born Christian - despite all the teachings of the denominations.  Even when your parents subject you to baptism and any other trainings of the church - you are not Christian.

1 John 5:1 'Whosoever believeth that Yahshua is the Messiyah born of Yahweh. . .'

You don't get that from any book, any church, or any study.

If you are wheat, if you are a child of Yahweh - then that seed to know and be His - is there the day you are conceived.  A thousand times a day, every day of your life, you have to make the fateful decision to keep that seed inside alive - that righteous truth.

John 12:24-25 '. . .Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto eternal life.'

1 Corinthians 15:31 '. . .I die daily.'

Dying while alive is losing all your selfish, carnal wills to do for yourself.  Once you stop living for yourself - and submit your life to Him - you can bring forth fruit.  As long as you cling to your worldly way of living - you are alone - for everything you do is designed for your comfort, joy and prosperity.

He that dies to self would not ever preach on prosperity in this world because he would be dead to it.

Psalms 40:7-8 'Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do Thy will, O my Elohim: Yea, Thy law is within my heart.'

Until you understand that everything in the Bible is in your heart already, you will have trouble accepting certain parts of it.  You will not come under obedience willingly - but still be grievous in your acceptance of it.

Amen
